Sale-A-Bration Lots of Lavender Stamp Set, Decorated Candle

Back in November I got together with the Crafty Cupcakes for a crafting day after the Stampin' Up! OnStage event in Birmingham.  Our lovely Gemma Clarke showed us how to stamp onto candles using tissue paper. I'd never done this before and have to say I'm a bit hooked now. How fabulous to be able to personalise a candle with whatever image or sentiment you want.

Sale-A-Bration Lots of Lavender Stamp Set, Wisteria Wonder

Here I've used the Lots of Lavender stamp set, I coloured the image using the Stampin' Write Markers in Wisteria Wonder and Old Olive, the ribbon was coloured in Elegant Eggplant. This candle now sits in our living room and matches our decor perfectly!

  1. What a great idea Jillian to put a stamp onto a candle, how did you get it to go around the curve edge? I haven't got the lavender stamp set yet but I am sure my next order will allow me to get a couple more freebies from the SAB catalogue. I will go on the blog hop and see what the other team members have created. :o)

    1. Thanks Lorraine. You stamp on tissue paper then attach the tissue paper to the candle using a heat tool. Gemma has done a brilliant video, here’s the link https://youtu.be/lBpMj8VYEjY xx
